Psalm am: 87, 90
pm: 136 Jeremiah 13:1-11 Romans 6:12-23
John 8:47-59

O Give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy
endureth for ever. —-Psalm 136:1

Psalm 136 is telling us about God’s never ending love. That because
of His love and mercy great things or miracles have occurred.

With wisdom He made the sky.                                                            He lets the sun rule each day.

In our daily lives we are sometimes bombarded with the negatives;
negative thoughts, negative people and negative images.
We forget to cherish and celebrate all the good that God has
provided. In this new phase of my life called retirement I remind
myself daily to acknowledge and appreciate the many
“miracles”, large and small, He has provided. The sun peaking
through the blinds in the morning, a husband and daughter who
have added a missing layer of intimacy or the new ability to
serve God through volunteerism.

He rescued us from our enemies.
God’s love never fails.
